Zafferani 7 Spindle Beveller

A very dependable production bevelling machine for variable angle bevelling, coming in two versions – one with front arris capability (arris model) and one with pencil edging capability (round model). Employing an oil slide double chain conveyor system, the pads are in cast iron with vulcanised rubber surfacing. Running on automatically lubricated rails, the conveyor system has a bearing-guided vertical guide system for precision tracking.

Six direct drive high precision bevelling spindles (four diamond wheels and two felt wheels) are mounted on a stress-relieved bed and carry out bevels up to 1 ¾” (45mm) in width. A fully adjustable edging wheel in the Round model allows for pencil edging of the remaining glass edge. The wheel bed is uniformly adjustable for quick change-over to differing bevel widths, glass thickness and desired angle of bevel.
