Zafferani 6 Spindle Peripheral Edging Machine

More than simply Heavy Duty, this six spindle machine from Zafferani is for the serious producer of decorative profile glass or high speed standard edge work. Built to handle glass up to 7/8” (22mm) thick, the machine can produce highly polished OG, waterfall, bullnose profiles on 3/4” glass with ease, while at the same time producing standard pencil or flat edges at high speed. Capable of heavy grinding and polishing, the machine can go down to a minimum glass size of 2” (50mm).

With a roller chain conveyor system, each pad with a central bearing for vertical hold along a precision ground rail, the conveyance system provides exceptional linearity. This coupled with over-dimensioned motor spindles with a tolerance of 0.015mm (about 1/2 of a 1,000” ) makes for a high precision grind and polish. Featuring also the front-loading grinding compartment, dial-in speed control with AC inverter, and standard wheel angle function for different thicknesses of glass using the same wheels, the machine can be operated and adjusted with ease.
