Zafferani 2 Spindle Peripheral Edging Machine

Ideal for pencil edge and flat edge requirements in the standard 1/8” - 3/8” range, this well-proven work-horse from Zafferani is probably the most widely used two spindle machine in the business. Originally designed about 30 years ago, the machine has seen constant improvements over time. Perhaps the best indication of its rugged build is that the conveyor system can handle up to 7/8” thick glass. On the other end of the scale, 1/8” glass and sizes down to 3” high can be run with ease.

The machine has a roller chain conveyor system with driven tooth belt inlet/outlet conveyors. The central conveyor is adjustable for glass thickness and the spindle mounts can be angled to process differing thicknesses of glass using the same diamond/polishing wheels. Add to this the over-dimensioned high precision motor spindles and you have in the Velox Senior perhaps the best entry level machine available - rugged well proven design at a very affordable cost.
