Installations
The machines we sell are quoted delivered and installed with the exception of the smaller machines which require no installation.  Our technicians set up the equipment in your facility, put it into operation (run glass) and train your operators.

When the customer is located within a reasonable driving distance, our technicians will personally truck the machine to the customer’s plant.  The customer is only responsible for having a fork lift available at the time of unloading.  Such an arrangement is extremely advantageous to the customer because it saves the expense of hiring a rigging crew to unload the machine.

Retrues
Machines and Wheels offers an in-house Retrue Service for PE, V-Groove and Flat diamond wheels.  We can also retrue flat degreed wheels.
The following procedure is used to retrue your wheels:

1)  Sandblasting the wheels for cleaning

2)  Cross-dressing the wheels on a special grinding machine
This process grinds off the excess metal to expose the working area of the wheel.

3)  After setting the desired radius for each glass thickness, the wheel is retrued to factory specifications.

Diamond wheels can be retrued several times and save you hundreds of dollars.  A new diamond wheel can cost as much as $400.00 whereas retruing allows you to utilize the entire working area of the wheel for a fraction of that cost.
