The SAE13A is a 13 spindle variable mitering / edging machine, with 6 spindles on a 0-45° mitering base, 4 spindles for the front and rear arris and 3 spindles for the remaining flat edge.  Polishing wheels are lifted pneumatically for a trouble-free high-quality finish.  Spindle position, conveyor pad position and conveyor speed are controlled by PLC.  Setting and display of glass thickness, miter angle, remaining flat edge width and conveyor speed are by touch screen.  The precision cast alloy bearing type conveyor pads ensure smooth operation and high loading capacity.  Inlet and outlet conveyors use timing belts for precise operation.  Conveyor speed is controlled by inverter for quick speed adjustment.  The inlet conveyor height is adjustable to quickly change the amount of glass removal during flat polishing.
