Metral Automatic Glass Drilling Machine

The TD1-A Special automatic drill from Metral is a medium-sized drill with up to 4" hole size capacity. The machine has many of the features of its larger version (TD-3) such as dial-in variable speed control for rotation speed of the heads. The operator simply turns the dial to the hole size required. Top and bottom drills are direct-driven spindles with hydrochecks for speed of head travel. Throat depth is 31 1/2" (800 mm).

Special construction features include stainless steel replaceable chucks and waterfeeds directly above the drill bit. The drill can be equipped with the standard 60" x 80" pop-up caster table for the handling of larger pieces.
