Comes in tilt or belt evacuation models. Standard size cuts up to 145"x102" glass; 6000 models handle jumbo sheets. Cuts up to 230 ft/min. with accuracy tolerance of ± .3mm.
Capitalizing on their wealth of experience in the glass industry, Italiana Macchine gives you a record of optimum design innovations and proven reliability in their cutting tables. The standard tables - the Speed and the Pratic - are differentiated in their loading mechanisms. The Speed models use pneumatic tilting arms to load and unload glass, while the Pratic models have tilting tables. They come in shape and linear cutting or linear cutting only versions. Both models operate at 230 ft/min (70m/min) with an accuracy of ±12/1000" (±0.3mm).
Standard models are supplied with a pedal-acutated air cushion system across the entire table and two (2) built-in pedal-actuated breakout bars located in the length and breadth of the tables. They are available in versions that cut pieces up to 130" x 102" or versions for jumbo sheets. Additional options are available and include: a double-zero option where the cutting head can initiate its program from two different zero points (useful when cutting double-lite laminated glass); 20mm (>3/4") cutting option - using a reinforced modified cutting head; Suction cup transfer (automatic positioning is available with this option).

Programming and Software
The Italiana Macchine tables have a true CNC control unit (Tria) where programming and programming changes to a diskette-loaded program can be made. A screen on the unit provides graphic representation of cutting programs with optimization patterns, real time cutting sequences as well as simulated cutting sequences. The unit, among its many functions, also provides diagnostic feed-back for function errors, parameter controls, memorization and so forth.
The usual method of programming is by diskette produced on a standard Windows operating PC. Here a user-friendly software program allows the operator to begin with available inventory, input multiple orders by glass dimension, create shapes either from the CAD shape library or generated from the CAD drawing program , optimize the orders for best utilization of the glass sheets available (2-5% waste is usual) and put onto diskette for transfer to the machine. A print-out can be generated with graphic representation of the order with the customer’s name shown on the patterns to be cut.
Alternatively, the operator may want to download drawings from a customer-generated diskette. In this case, the Italiana Macchine software (FC-Smartcut) can import files (DXF from AutoCAD for example) to be used in the optimization system.
