Another beefy little machine from Metral designed to handle the demands of day-in day-out processing of flat edge. Having the same central conveyor design as the larger machines, the conveyor system features snap-on rubber pads mounted to polyamid support shoes (attached to two chains) which slide along anti-friction wear guides. Couple this with the central worm gear drive in the gear box, and you have a very smooth durable conveyor system.

As strong as an ox, this eight spindle flat edger from Metral is a basic flat edger which can take up to 1” thick glass. With its positive worm gear drive on double crown gears along with an internal clutch linkage on the front conveyor, the conveyor system processes large sheets of glass with smooth control.
